Cool concept with really fun and very impressive production- just wish I got more out of the lyrics and vocals/ melodies.

This is definitely one of the most unique listening experiences I've had with an album, and even if every track doesn't land the same, the dark and uncomfortable energy throughout the album works so well with its somber moments that it makes a full listen really rewarding
Some definite weak points, but the highlights, features, and consistently fast pace make this really fun.
While it might not be the most unique sound, he's really mastered it. This album is extremely consistent and will definitely grow on me with time.
Had a lot of fun with this one- great production and sound all around with so many memorable moments
my cavetown phase is long gone... (it was extreme)
I appreciate what he's going for but wish he committed to the electronic sound more like he did on songs like sailboat (although that one is cheating because you put underscores on anything and i'll eat it up)
Also think the writing isn't very strong, but I was never offended by this.
Very rare that I throw in the towel on rating something after I listen but I don't even know where to begin. Every song is both a 10/10 and 0/10 in some ways and listening was both a blast and a nightmare.
Cumboy is really amazing and powerful (words I never thought I would utter)

What happened to me.
Since Bladee started working with artists I rly like like oklou and Charli XCX, I've warmed up to the thought of revisiting this album. And after doing so it's one of those rare scenarios where my opinion has completely changed but I still think my old opinion is completely valid. This album is so weird. The drowned out sound I used to see as a major flaw is now part of the aesthetic. This album requires you to be in a really specific state to enjoy ... read more
It's rare that an albums flaws are this easily summed up (insert comment about lyrics and vocals) which makes it more frustrating given how solid the production is.
I feel like this is like the Justin Bieber album but without those druski interludes and with more emotion
While this album’s sound doesn’t quite live up to his previous two release, and while it is almost certainly too long (25 tracks is insane), it really is just a collection of pleasant songs with great writing as always
like the released album but every song makes me want to give up even more
