Really good showing from a newer artist on the scene. Well deserved Grammy for new artist.
Its not a bad showing. I really enjoyed the singles off this album and while there were some album tracks that hit for me, I think the singles were the strongest part of this album. It was a surprise to see that they didn't entirely sound like the rest of the record.
First album I've listened to by Malcolm. I really like the sound he is going for and there are lots of ear worms on this album. 4me 4me is living rent free in my head.
Knowing the back story to this album and hearing these songs as a kid really makes this a phenomenal listen. Its hit after hit and the musicianship is top tier.
There are some songs on here I really like but overall its a pretty average album.
The addition to the original isn’t much to write home about. My only highlight was GODSPEED but I think that there was a reason they didn’t make the original album.
It’s actually not as bad as people were saying. The lead single is not my favorite but there are definitely some hits on this. B.O.A.T is stuck in my head and hits hard. Camila never fails to give you an emotional banger…
I mean wow… I don’t even know what to say. After like the first three songs on this album it takes a nosedive. These lyrics are corny!!!! There is room for playfulness and corniness but there is no passion behind this. It seems so basic compared to everything else she has done and I’m not really sure what happened creatively here. I don’t even get elements of showgirl thematics other than pictures and her saying the word. I don’t like being really negative but ... read more
I think a the singles stand out as some of the best tracks off this record. It was a good follow up to Future Nostalgia, but I am not sure she is going to be able to capture the feeling and essence of that album again. However, I feel there are some sleeper tracks on this that I get stuck in my head all the time. Watcha doing is such a catchy songggg
Most of these tracks are great refreshing takes on the already established hits. I like the variety of artists included on this project and love seeing Pink have fun.
Good pop album. Her singles on this are standout tracks and she gets real while keeping it upbeat and fun.
Really good last showing (for now) of twenty one pilots. There is so many connections to their previous albums throughout and the songs are very catchy. I really like the rock elements they brought to this one.
Yep - this album is so so good. I love Florence + the Machine and having an insane follow up to Ceremonials just feels right. Her voice sounds so crisp and the hooks keep you wanting more throughout the entire listen.
I have always liked Bazzi’s voice and a lot of songs land on this mixtape. I do however think there is nothing ground breaking on some of these… but I do like the introspection he was able to portray in these songs.
I think that there definitely was some highlights to this album like “When did you get hot?” But there also definitely are some skips… I hope she continues to take her sound in different directions because I tend to like those ones better on this than songs like “Sugar Talking” Not a bad follow up to Short n Sweet
This record is definitely of its time, but I can't deny that there are some bangers on here. Get back, Two Worlds Collide, and La la Land will always find a home in my music library.
