I mean what did you expect from Hayley... she created a great song with many meaningful references to leave a lasting impact on the listener.
Gutwrenching lyrics and the vocals hit hard. Dust bowl demo was on repeat for the longest time along with Waco, Texas. Glad they came to fruition with a new sound. A good follow up to Preacher's Daughter
Good debut album bringing back a unique kind of pop songs. The wordplay and choruses are very catchy and interested to see where she goes from here.
The songwriting on this album is so good and I love the delivery on the vocal inflections he does on a lot of these songs. Definitely a highlight of the year.
The new mixes are amazing. This gave new life to this already great album for me.
I think this is pretty good for casual pop music. I only knew this artist from Budapest, but enjoyed this listen. I think his voice suits this style of music and while I think some songs I would skip, most of the tracks are quality.
I don't care what people have to say about the rapping, this is definitely a no-skip album. I have listened to this album so many times over the years and I still love it. This album was one of the things I listened to non-stop on a cross-country trip in the USA, so I have lots of nostalgia with it. While I understand that definitely clouds my judgement, I think the lyricism is good on the album and a fun listen.
I have seen this band live and this type of music always keeps me calm. I like a lot of the lyricism on this album and think this is their best work. Able to bond with my parents over this music and that is always a plus.
I constantly go back and forth between this being MCR's best album to date. I love the energy on the tracks. Even the ballads make me want to scream the lyrics at the top of my lungs. Love this record and wish I was able to see them live when this came out.
First Tyler album listened to in full and this project was great. I loved the deep lyricsm and beats. Sticky features hit so hard making it one of my favs on the album. Will have the St. Chroma chorus stuck in my head for an enternity.
This album is excellence. I can immediately see why so many big name artists pull inspiration from Imogen Heap. I was interested to learn that this is where Jason Derulo got his sample for "Whatcha Say" and I can't unhear it LOL.
Really good music from Mitski (no surprise here). The instrumentation and songwriting are high quality. I think this album put her on the map for some new fans which is cool to see. Definitely worth a listen.
She made every song significantly different and they still hit. While I do not think this is on the same level as the standard album, there is definitely some great tracks and overall I feel it was a good listen.
This is my favorite Charli record. I love this and have spam listened to every song for months at a time. Every song has its place and the experimental production hits everytime. I need so many of these songs to be injected into my veins. I will forever return to this and wonder how anything could be better?
This is my first FKA twigs record and I really enjoyed it. I like the diverse tracks on this mixtape and the features give it an interesting sound. While I definitely feel like there are a lot of interludes on this album I thought the pacing was pretty good and enjoyed it overall.
A fan favorite Charli album. I really love the songs on this album. This is one of her most creative albums and she is at her prime. I always love the featured artists she brings in to shine a light on. I think this album was ahead of its time.
One of the best Charli projects to date. Funny enough this was my introduction to Charli and what kept me as a fan. The experimentation, the crazyness, the production, the lyrics, it all is perfectly crafted. One of the best pop albums.
