Definitely could have been better bu not the worst, needs better vocals
A really emotional charged album that's sounds like it has a theme of growing up in this world and making mistakes and memories. Some of my favorite tracks are cosmic hero, drugs with freinds, connect the dots and destroyed by hippie powers
An absolutely amazing new csh album, since Gethsemane came out I couldn't wait until it came out and I was not left disappointed, it has this certain rock and surreal fusion with themes surrounding self expression and wanting to be yourself. Gethsemane has this powerful and somewhat build up throughout the song, catastrophe starts with this high beat sound with this symphony of guitars while the lyrics are loud and sound like someone spilling out how they feel after holding it In for a ... read more
This album has a nostalgic yet fun and pretty cheery sound, it mixes some really nice somber melody's with relaxing vocals to up beat songs with a fun atmosphere, from the amazing first track sunshine girl to the emotional and somber hello, shooting star, those two tracks with chu chu, I say you say I ♡ you , PINKY RING and トモシビ, highly recommend giving it a listen
Without a doubt the most HORRENDOUS " Music" ALBUM IVE EVER HEARD!!!! most of the songs just have repetitive vocals and brain killing instrumental >:( god this album pmo so bad that i am shaking my fist in rage as i write this, you may be wondering how i can be typing while writing this review. its because this album is so toxic and disgusting that it mutated me, giving me another arm. and these songs ARENT EVEN REALALISTIC. like " this is the best burrito I've ever ... read more
First I have to say this plainly as possible: this album is good, not a great album or mind-blowing album it's just good, it has so many unique from the big band sounding "how you like me ?"now to the blues rock fusion " short change hero" and the gospel sounding "sixteen" to the great way to end the album with "Stuck". Overall it's a good album and I recommend you check it out swell as there other work!
in my opinion one of the best classic albums to come out of the 60s, i absolutely love the shouting and upbeat tone that is mick jaggers vocals, keith richards guitar skills are unlike anyone else. the upbeat shattered to the anti vietnam war message that is gimme shelter to the silly monkey man, this album has such a wide variety of moods for each song. plus ending the album with you cant always get what you want is a perfect send off song to this trip of a rock album. i highly highly ... read more
A pretty good slow and somber album with this slight surreal vocal sound, i'm not the greatest with words and i dont just want to say what i usually do for a album review but its pretty good! i like the acoustic and if i were to listen to it at home rather than at school i would definitely get into it. my favorite tracks are alison 40 days and Dagger
listened to this album during school which isn't the best setting but still went pretty hard, not saying much due to being slightly burn out review wise but my favorite tracks are socks, besties and Salem sisters
for starters I want to say that this album is good, it has their distinct sound and panchiko's instrumental never fails to impress, the problem with this album is that it didn't live up to expectations when people thought it was gonna be amazing and it did a good job trying to reach said expectations and falls a bit short. some of my favorite tracks on here have to be formula for the cool glitchy sound and the vocals, shandy in the graveyard was pretty unique with the rap bit which ... read more
I'm not so sure where to start this review other than saying the guitar work is absolutely phenomenal, especially the solo in Willie the pimp, this album is mainly instrumental tracks, giving us this great jazz/rock sound to it while still feeling like a Zappa song even without his vocals ( except in Willie the pimp, the sax in this is mesmerizing and drums lay a nice beat, this just comes to show that frank Zappa doesn't need words to show how amazing he is
Another pretty good preview for their upcoming album, although I prefer Gethsemane it's a good song the bongo sounding beat is nicely mixed with the electronic sound in the start leading into a regular drum set beat which is nice. A pretty good single and the album cover is pretty cute ^^
This album has a surreal and somber feel to it, from the vocals to instrumental it feels emotional, every song has it's own feel and sound with a different feeling for each one, from the lightly up lifting southern sky to the mournful "Hope" and nice ending with a live performance of "sugar house". I'm a person that likes most music and recommend every album in my reviews but I definitely recommend this if your looking for something with more emotion In it. Some of ... read more
its fun to listen to these demos and seeing the early works of them and being able to listen to early version of these tracks like gwen Everest. it sounds like I'm listening to a cassette full of songs made in a garage and I love it. untitled demo 1997 is so surreal sounding, with its instrumental and the beat on that one time a girl sang and saved the world is infectious getting in your head with the string instrumental mixed with the electronic beats go together amazingly. there are a ... read more
First I have to say that all of the tracks hit, there isn't one I don't like at most maybe breakfast séance due to it just being instrumental but it still as a nice beat and the bell is a good touch, in my opinion this album is better than death metal, not saying its a worse album i just feel like this album is much more polished and easier to listen. the vocals are infectious and the instrumental blends well. some of my favorite tracks have to be failed at math(s) and Gwen ... read more
no offense whatsoever, i didn't expect this to be actually really good
a pretty simple indie album, i'm a fan of vundabar´s work and they did pretty good with this album, though i wish they would try some new styles, dont get me wrong i love their instrumental and the vocals are nice but itd be nice to get something more unique to them. favorite songs have to be burned off and jester.
Another really fun and pretty bizarre album by Zappa, once again with the great jazzy instrumental and zany lyrics its a good album but i thing apostrophe is a little better imo, still this album is great fun. you get tracks like Rat Tomago which are just instrumental but go so hard and you get these songs like im so cute and bobby brown which have absurd and silly lyrics but great instrumental. my favorite tracks have to be broken hearts are for assholes and bobby brown
Frank zappa is so interesting, his songs have amazing jazz sounding instrumental and his vocals go together amazingly, the first part of this album plays like it tells a story and it's done amazingly It's like one big song split into parts when the first track ended I didn't even notice. The lyrics are lighthearted and written well and despite half of the songs being connected they're all unique and sound great In there own way. Don't eat the yellow snow is such a good ... read more
