at a silly standing this album is just a goofy as his other albums but as a actual album this goes so hard, genius in france with its frank zappa sounding lyrics and instrumental with that weird al flair. Hardware store with its high speed lyrics and using tools as the instrumental is easily the best song of the album and Angry White Boy Polka is my favorite weird al Polka medley. i want to rate this higher but i feel like i would get weird looks if i put this higher than my elliott smith ... read more
Another really good album by BOC, another good mystic feeling album with unique themes, sole survivor sounds sounds powerful but sorrowful at the same time, burnin for you has an amazing bass sound and the vocals are infectious. veteran of the psychic wars feels heavy with its percussion but at the same time it makes you feel as if the singer is ready to give up after the war and is ready to give in. i'm not the greatest at explaining why i like a song so if my reasons why i think this ... read more
honestly i dont understand the other reviews of this album, its great! i love the theme of mysticism and it sounds exactly how you would with the album cover. so many of the tracks are unique and yet have common themes of the supernatural and love. obviously people are here mostly for dont fear the reaper but this album is much more than that! E.T.I gives me M.I.B vibes and i love the vocals in it, vampire tattoo is full of energy and This ain't the summer of love is a great way to start ... read more
a pretty good classic rock album. i prefer there later work but this is a pretty good album, jaggers voice is in his prime and keith richards guitar work is phenomenal. favorite tracks have to be paint it black, lady jane and under my thumb.
another amazing album by the late elliott smith, his acoustic guitar skills and soft calm vocals never fails to impress me, its a nice calming album that will go great with doing anything from reading to playing a game, fave tracks were i didn't understand, baby britain and everybody cares, everybody understands.
a pretty good rock album by a great band. not much to say just a good rock album. favorite songs have to be godzilla and fireworks
this was my first time listening to the full version of this opening and i love the middle and end part of it
My favorite opening in the series and my absolute favorite anime opening theme
at first all i can think is how surreal the instrumental is, its sound gives off a serene and calming but so powerful that it gets stuck in your head, the vocals are quiet, letting the instrumental shine, every song feels somewhat different but connected to one theme. my favorite tracks are mazamun, cochlea, SONAR and tower. this album was definitely a experience and i highly recommend you listen to it if you haven't yet.
im only giving it a two because some bits of the instrumental isnt bad but this sounds like ¨ hey i'm so quirky and silly XD¨ was a song
Another pretty good album by the white stripes, guitar work goes well and i like the vocals, i didn't get as into it as i did with the first album i listened to but nonetheless a good listen, most of the songs have a unique sound and the first half of the album is amazing imo, my favorites being fell in love with a girl and the union forever
A great garage band album with some amazing tracks, the vocals sync with the beat of the song well and the guitar work is powerful. overall not much to say, just a good album. some of my favorite tracks were the hardest button to button and the air near my fingers
a really interesting album, i like the calm mix of pop and rock, the vocals do an amazing job blending with the electric instrumental, i really liked laputa and death metal, kicking cars was good too
this single is a great sample of whats to come with the new album coming out soon, the electronic sound digs deep into your head, the percussion is just amazing and will´s vocals completes this gift of a single, i'm a fairly new fan to csh, i've been listening for around a few months but i cant wait for the full album comes out.
this is the first album by modest mouse i've listened to and it sets a great first impression of the band with great, the mix of pop and rock, the infectious vocals and the great guitar work. each song has its own mood and does its own thing, such as float on with a more upbeat mood by telling the listener to " float on in life" to the upbeat but melochonic " black cadillacs" i will most definitely listen more of their work when i find the time, definitely recommended ... read more
honestly a slept on album, the instrumental hits hard and the vocals blend really well with them, some of my favorite tracks have to be tonight im wearing silk and no people to person. vundabar is such a underrated band, people see them as just the guys who made oulala and alien blues but they are so much more and this album shows it
a fun album, has good instrumental and vocals, my favorite tracks were probably let it happen and the less i know the better. didn't feel like writing a long review this time. Edit: wasn't in a good mood for music the day I wrote this, I love the psychedelia feel and the pop sound combined to make this an a amazing experience of a album
It's a fun album to vibe to, its a simple fun indie rock album with a weird album cover, what's not to love, the instrumental is fun and has its unique style, the vocals hit hard and express loudly, some of my favorite tracks have to be be oulala, ash in the sun and smile boyo. Definitely recommended if your into indie
