I hesitated giving this a listen at first, because many girls I know are absolutely obsessed with this guy, and therefore I thought it was specifically meant for females.
The truth is I should’ve gave this a listen the very first time it was recommended to me.
If there’s one word to describe this album, it would be “Divine”.
It makes me sad to think of what the great talents could’ve done if they hadn’t passed on so soon, we only caught a glimpse of these ... read more
As the unintentional final Pantera studio album, this also intentionally feels like a combination of all the elements that made up their 4 previous releases.
Sonically Heavy, Vocally Aggressive, explosive percussion, lyrically dense, and above all else, a no fucks given / take no shit attitude!
While Far Beyond & Trendkill experimented beyond the confines of traditional groove metal, while also defining it.
Reinventing the Steel feels more closer in tone to Cowboys from Hell, going back ... read more
I’ve been preparing myself for Megadeth, but Anthrax and Exodus are opening the show and I never really listened to either of their stuff.
I can’t believe I slept on this for so long this shit bangs!🤘
Should’ve wrote this in the summer when I was really into Van but fuck it!
This is my personal favourite VH record, but 1984 is objectively their best.
My reason for this taking the cake is that it’s truly unique compared to the rest of the DLR era, it’s darker, and has a distinct sound & atmosphere.
That album cover is the cherry on top of the unique approach to this record
“Mean Street” is such a groovy number, one of Eddies best parts.

I’ve come to appreciate this album a lot more since revisiting it.
It’s hard to say but this could objectively be Zep’s best record out of the many masterpieces they had under there belt, if not then it’s number two.
Kashmir is the best song in their discography, and it far surpasses Stairway, you can fight me on that!
Just had a chill day of painting Hardy Battens white on the side of my bosses house.
I listened to the Stones the whole time, Exile, Let It Bleed, and this album on repeat.
This one was my favourite tho!
Beatles < Stones
I’ve listened to this many times while I was at work, and personally I prefer this to Number of the Beast now.
Megadeth’s response to The Black Album is not as try hard as you’d expect it to be, they gave up lightning fast riffs in order to write some catchy ass songs, and I honestly think it worked.
In the grand scheme of Ozzy’s original run with Sabbath, this is certainly a big disappointment. Although I have not heard “Never Say Die!” Yet, I’m hoping I can enjoy It a little more then this one.
The tracks on here just aren’t as memorable as anything on their previous releases.
I will say that you can tell Ozzy is locking in his trademark vocal style, even if he doesn’t seem enthusiastic about doing so. (Sabotage was really where he started to shine in ... read more
Ok so idk what it is but I would throw on a bunch of songs from this album while I was hungover in my bed, mainly Christian Woman & Black No. 1.
I wouldn’t consider myself a goth by any means, but I love the style, and the whole mystique of it.
Theirs just something about this album that hits the right way, it’s not one of the most mind blowing records I’ve ever heard, but it’s a great snapshot into the way of life some people base their whole personality on.

A chick once said to me “Only girls are aloud to listen to The Smiths.”
Till this day that is still one of the most ridiculous things anyone’s ever said to me.
So here’s the thing, I’m breaking the rules by saying this is a “perfect album” because technically their is a skip on this record, the song “God Smack” doesn’t really hold a candle to the rest of the album in my opinion, the chorus is great but everything else is kinda meh.
But it really doesn’t matter because the rest of this thing brings the heat, and crushes every other grunge album except for maybe Nevermind.
I wouldn’t even call this ... read more
Very strong first half, Eddie and Alex were in a whole other dimension.
But I’m not to sure how I feel about the second half yet.
EDIT: Everybody Wants Some!! & Fools gets my blood pumping, both phenomenal tracks, and the rest of the album is pretty damn solid as well.
Some people worship Buddha, or Morgan Freeman, I myself worship the prince of motherfuckin darkness.🦇
