Pantera - Far Beyond Driven

Anyone else feel invincible while listening to this?

The Smiths - Hatful of Hollow

The slide effect on “How Soon Is Now?” never fails to give me goosebumps every time I hear it.
Cant wait to add it to my tattoo playlist.

Talking Heads - Remain in Light

Pretty much the exact opposite of Funhouse (The Stooges), the album increasingly gets more mellow, but doesn’t give up its groovy / funky atmosphere.
I bought this vinyl off a good friend of mines father for $20 USD, and throwing it on the turn table was the first time I’d ever gave it a full listen, and man it was worth every penny.

The Stooges - Fun House

If a volcano was an album, it would be this one.

Death - Leprosy

Right after listening to this album I got a nose bleed, pretty damn metal if you ask me.

I’ve Been trying to branch out on lots of genres lately, mainly metal.
Death was a band I heard being mentioned quite a bit in the conversation of the best metal bands / albums from many different sources.
Plus this is the only record from their discography that made the cut for Rolling Stones 100 greatest metal albums list, which had many hot takes btw.
So it seemed to me that this would be a fine introduction to the bands material.
Personally I do not enjoy the guttural death metal ... read more

This & Moving Pictures are the only stuff I have on vinyl from these 3 legendary gentlemen. Enjoyed it a lot, but not sure if it’ll stick with me as much as their 70s stuff.

Pantera - Cowboys from Hell

Music in the summertime for me has only one word to complement it, METAL!
This album is a staple during that time for me, classics like Heresy, Shattered, and Message in Blood are the reasons I sacrificed my comfort in the heat, just to grow out my hair. I always take a breather from Metal after the summer, but once it comes back, believe me when I say I’ll need a neck replacement from head banging.

Pantera - The Great Southern Trendkill

This album sounds like taking a rattle snake, throwing it into a vat of acid, taking out whatever remains of it, incasing the remains in steel, then melting the steel & turning it into a hand gun.

Genesis - Foxtrot

Supper’s Ready is without a doubt one of the greatest songs ever made.

Yes - Close to the Edge

One night in December of 23, my mother had gotten these edibles from her friend that were extremely potent, and it wasn’t till about an hour after we took them that we realized how strong they were. I went downstairs to my man cave, a few weeks earlier I had purchased an original pressing of this album on vinyl at my local music shop. I had seen many lists of the greatest prog albums, and Close to the Edge was always in the top 10.
So when I saw it I knew I had to have it.
Anyways, I was ... read more

Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral

I can only thank one person for showing me this Record, and that is my Father.
Without him I wouldn’t have the connection to this album that do.
As wicked as it may seem, Closer is one of many songs that represents parts of my early life.
Pretty Hate Machine is an unreal Album from start to finish, but The Spiral tells a story, of a man who decides to travel to the darkest aspects of human nature. It’s not a Rock Opera like Pink Floyd’s The Wall, It’s a concept Album ... read more
