Way better than Habibti imo, but most what I said in that review is true here too, with the exception of two or three tracks.
A great pop album that's literally oozing personality as Mars' 3rd studio album shows the potential he has to create real, amazing music. Though maybe not AOTY, still great.
An album while not perfect, full of amazing and emotional tracks that show the beginning of his R&B saga that would come around 9 years later.
Not as memorable, but still great as I went through Noah's exquisite discography.
Great album shows a great foundation for what Noah Kahan would eventually become, an amazing Indie, singer-songwriter star.
Not much to say here other than not my vibe but full of immaculately crafted tracks, with Leave The Door Open and Skate being my favourites.
Great album also, though it is incredibly difficult to follow up something as iconic as Thriller, or Bad.
A great second studio album from Michael Jackson as a solo artist. Though not as strong as his first album, this album is still full of banger after banger, and I loved all of the tracks. Favorite being Man in the Mirror.
Just a wonderfully aged album full of amazing tracks that rival many of the pop tracks that come out today, and thats not just glaze. Listening to this album, I realized why MJ was so popular in the last generation, and continuing into our generation as he gets older. Such a legend taken too soon regardless of his allegations. I loved pretty much every track, and the ones I didn't just aren't my vibe.
This album, coming off of a ton of awful singles, has a lot of tracks that I feel are very solid, and definitely improve upon his formula a lot, and that shows his evolution as an artist. And though songs like Ghost may be a little cringy, he comes from a undeniably authentic place with these tracks, and you can tell. This alone carries his sad portrayal of himself to be believable.
I think every track on here is weak except for One Time and Favourite Girl, which both have their own vibes to them, though being in this sort of melancholic way.
Album is really good and shows his development as an artist, but also further proves that he was basically immediately pushed into this narrative of being the handsome, young pop boy that he was at the time, with a lot of these tracks coming off as inauthentic. Though songs like beauty and a beat of aged wonderfully.
Baby has aged incredibly well, going from a critically and commercially hated song to a globally loved song as of 2026. And I agree with that statement for quite a few of these songs. Although the album has aged badly, I do think there are redeeming factors to it.
Album full of great tracks, I honestly enjoyed the sound and vibe of this album more than her latest album, eternal sunshine, as this album has more upbeat tracks that I find better. Though there are certainly songs that I don't think have aged well, particularly Side to Side.
Solid track that I did not expect coming off of drop dead, but I understand why she says its her favourite on the album.
Really solid album, and like other reviewers have said, a great evolution of the already amazing stick season album. Outstanding lyricism and production throughout. Especially as a fan of Aaron Dessner.
