Slight drop from Apricot Princess, but still an array of stand-out tracks that mirror some his previous themes. Some of the earlier songs felt slightly repetitive at times but the second half of the album showcased beautiful instrumental composure and lyrical work.

People who call this album "A Kendrick travesty" haven't taken the right perspective going into the album. Likely expecting harder hip-hop projects similar to TPAB and DAMN. Instead this album takes a retrospective on Kendrick's 5 years away from attention and presents similar stances on using music as an outlet like CHROMAKOPIA. The 42 this track has received is absolutely atrocious. Obviously the hate toward Wilbur is clear, yet I find the most enjoyment in the instrumental parts with incredible work by the other members of the band to create this masterpiece of a single right before their debut album. Should be in the 70s-80s realistically.
This would've been a much higher rating had it not been for one particular track ("Scum") leaving a poor taste in my mouth. Every other track is very well produced with smart lyrics and very enjoyable instrumental riffing throughout each song. Whilst it is less enjoyable then the previous EP "Pebble Brain", this album garners attractiveness to their upcoming debut album "Lovejoy 1" (I think). A slightly over-hated album, but understandably so. Some of the greatest track masterpieces to come out of Tyler are completely overshadowed by immature and unintelligible nonsense (Not talking about the song Cherry Bomb by the way). On the positives, Tyler shifts into a much more mature version of himself with lyrical masterclasses in the songs "2SEATER" and "OKAGA, CA", two of my personal favourite Tyler songs from his "pre-Flower Boy" era.
