I don't like when she does Slacker Rock. Her quirky vocals and lyrics fit Art Pop much better.
A lot of genre switches mid song, so whenever I like one song, I actually have to like two halves of it or three thirds. Makes it a lot easier to miss, and sometimes he does.
This is my first Madison Beer Project and I was completely unaware of what to expect. These are decent and soft ballads that sound like Ariana Grande deep cuts, and when she doesn't sound like her, she sounds like Billie Eilish. So her voice sounds really unoriginal to me, because I can't help but notice other musicians I'd rather be listening to. It's a great album for an evening walk. Unfortunately, it really gets going in the mid section for me. That's where the calm but infectious guitar lines really pop off.
