It's a cool and fun album that really takes a lot of inspiration in the some of the styles on the lp being a mix of like brat and ilmc, reimagined in her own style. Honestly the production was cute, and the vocals seemed really monotone and lackluster compared to everything else that had brought joy to this short 8 song mixtape. Other than the horrendous and boring vocals nothing that wrong with it i just wish the tracks were longer.
A cute little ep to start off a career with the singles up to this were great and this was no exception. The production style kinda reminds me of kruu but still cool, nonetheless. The vocals are kind of annoying and i love the danceable typa tracks i wasn't expecting this.
This was a really fun and unique sounding project. At points it can be executed poorly but even so with a project like this still gonna be a buzz around your name, whether it be the interesting samples or the interesting types of productions used. I wish the vocals were a bit better.
This'll prolly be his best albums the great new soundscapes where he went all out. Aries added some great instrumentals and even some of the rock riffs were included well. Glass Jaw has some of his best writing so far & the mix between rnb and rapping cuts are also executed well. This would lwk have been nothing without the Brakence feat, but it is what it is
This album is honestly better than the debut, other than the cringey cover and the somewhat cringey lyrics some of the song concepts were displayed well, other than the Kids on molly which felt like a miss in the track list and very annoying. The production was a bit more polished, with the singing sounding like daggers but still pretty cool. I just wish it was a bit longer w it only being barely over 30 minutes
It is a fun debut project and isn't as corny as a lot of the emo rap typa albums so a good effort ig still kind of basic and somewhat lackluster. I do love how some of the beats on here are heavenly compared to some of the worst singing attempts i have ever heard. Honestly sounds a lot better than his sophomore lp
It's a nice mix of some more modern influences and some older influences. A really consistent project at that her most so far out of the first 4. Prolly will end up being one of Madonna's most fun. Honestly think spanish eyes will be my most favorite song by her atp. I wasn't expecting the rock riffs those were interesting.
Even early in her career Madonna could make amazing Dance-pop albums this honestly seems like something Whitney Houston would have done. I kind of wish the beats and instrumentals really had a different sound most of them js mesh together. Other than a few boring songs it and a bit overrated
The deluxe accounting for the last 8 songs and honestly it was an upgrade for obvious reasons, it feels like a great way to encapsulate the ending of the lps story. Fortunately, it added some of the best songs on the lp with them Being Nothing isn't real, after last night and Go home all adding nice artistic touches to the already impeccable lp. The last few js seem like more upgraded melodies then the non-deluxe and have a bit more efficiency feel to them
i know i am overrating this a but, recently i got back into listening to it and honestly i finally see the real appeal. I love this album it's like a world to get lost into through Conrad's prowess of being a vivid storyteller. His first lp of 2025 felt like a bad release but when this came out it was like heaven. I also love how all-inclusive it is. He brings together an amazing list of people to acomplish his goal he brought in Terrace Martin, Keyon Harrold, Vanisha Gould and ... read more
For a debut album it's really insufferable with all the production sounding the same and it being really inconsistent project. Some of the drops are cool. The features at least make some parts of the album listenable and enjoyable but still a pretty boring release nothing really sticks from this 12 track lp
Nothing really abhorrently wrong with this other than some tracks sounding corny, each track has its own identity which is honestly interesting from a tt artist. I really love the production on songs like Pure America, and girl in the machine. Even the lyrics are not that bad they could be better js corny ash. This short ep does start to get worse at the end but it's still a cool little ep
It's okay the production is very entrancing and entertaining, also a bit magical with some decent rapping. Cloud skating was such a boring and repetitive song that was saved by the Danny feature. The rest was great, prolly better out there though. The bars were kinda ass though
6 years ago, on the debut ep of lucky iris a short 4 songs, it was started out on the basis of some infectious self-produced prod styles, and shows Maeve's and Jaspers prowess on instrumentals but, does get a bit mundane, boring on a few listens through like no replay value. Lyrically it could be a bit better but they do have potential
A newer hyperpop duo called lucky iris who consists of Maeve and Jasper who hail from Leeds Uk, they try mixing a glossier pop centric sound with electropop on the most simplistic beats, simpler lyrics. For the most part it pans out well, but it honestly could have been executed better. Near the end the beats get slightly more interesting but that is really it.
I honestly liked that this was my introduction to the Weeknd because it honestly told me if i loved this body of work by him, OI would eventually like the rest, after going through i realized how weak it is compared to the other Lp's in his discography. The only reason this was even monumental in his career was to show how he would eventually make some of his first pop hits, how he would execute and dictate those from the rest. I still find it crazy that In the night is one of the bigger ... read more
I really love this reinvention where he aims to take full advantage of his vocal talents to try to take the pop scene by storm, on Starboy and BBTM this wasn't really achieved as well stll experimenting on what he wanted his sound to be, and this more ethereal one is what resonated more. This was honestly a really soothing album with strong writing and some cool jazz production
The album cover is cool, but this feels like one of the more mundane releases from Lever fall, not really any good song designs also this feels out of place compared to the rest of the discog. I wish these albums honestly had a bit more vocals, but the overall craft is exquisite
This ep has some of the best riffs out of any of eps/lps before and after, the use of his voice does help the album a bit. Honestly close to the debut ep when it comes to style and effort because wow this is good. production is amazing the playing is peak prolly lot of stuff better but a great way to get into the genre
Not one of my favorites but it's not that bad of an ep. It seems a lot blander and more basic compared to the rest idrk. Still has a cool cover and some chill riffs but doesn't really show as much as emotion as any more of his short ep like records honestly a bit to happy for me
