probably the most fun i've had with a singular project in a long time. well done, boys of beasts
i loved the experimental and avant-garde edge to it all. some tracks begin to sound a bit one-note, but this is honestly everything i expected from a cameron picton solo project. marvelous!
great vibes and atmosphere as always, but would it kill them to make some of these songs a minute or two longer...?

the rusty knobs of the weathered wooden radio creaked slightly as the airwaves that unfolded before me talked, chatted, screamed, and cried; i could not make out what i was hearing, but nor did i wish to interpret it. i was bathed in its humble, transcendent glow. i stood and listened; i sat and i cried.
ninth track geese?? geese reference??? oh my god!! geese!!! geese on my searows album oh my god oh shit!!!??!!
listened mainly as background music, but the lyrics that stood out to me were really great. would listen again, many times over, especially on a cold winter's day.
feels like falling into that playstation 2 intro over and over again for an hour.
about 15 minutes longer than it should be, but i'm always grateful for more LCD
violent femmes' and the mountain goats' autistic son
nowadays this sounds just like every other indie/bedroom pop slop music, but these guys were the pioneers of it. and for that, i love it.
youth makes me feel something deeply unsettling and i sorta hate it but also adore it

i’m gonna say it
…this is better than like most of talking head’s discography 👀
