I’ve been looking forward to this album for so fucking long and it lived up to every expectation!! :DDDD rating will probably change as I listen to it more and more. Thom Yorke and strings will always be the best combo ever

I like cigarettes after sex but this cover is so fucking dogshit. It takes away everything that’s magical abt the original song and turns it into their generic samey sound with no emotion whatsoever.

I might just be really pissed since I’m a big radiohead fan (loser) but still this sucks ASS

Biggest annoyance is that voice effect on Will at the first part of drunk drivers/killer whales but then when he takes it off in the end the song is PERFECT. Anyways yeah what else am I supposed to say, I love CSH :3

it’s alright apart from that annoying voice effect and jarring beeps. I have no desire to return to this album, just fell flat for me.

I mean it’s good, I feel insane for not loving this like everyone else but it sounds like just slightly better than average shoegaze (I love shoegaze) and the whole album gets a little repetitive after a while idk. Also that big chunk of noise in the last track felt kinda unnecessary? I feel bad for that audience ☠️

What can I say, I fucking love industrial rock.
I love that this album is a mix of industrial/noise/punk style alongside a few soft swirly songs that sound almost like shoegaze at parts.
So excited to hear more from this band in the future!

Theres nothing like the feeling of enjoying an album then finding out the people behind it are absolutely vile human beings 🙁

I watched the short film for this album last year and really loved it so I’m not sure why it’s taken me this long to give it a full, proper listen 😭

Really enjoyed it! I already knew I liked Hideous and Fruit but songs like Saccharine and Confident Man were also pretty solid. However, apart from those songs the album kinda fades together, nothing catches my attention amazingly well. Vocals sounded a little boring sometimes.

I wanted to give AJR a chance bc some of my friends like them but argh I just can’t do it, the weird vocal and sound effects are so unserious, Jacks vocals and the lyrics make me want to throw up I’m sorry 😭
There are a few good songs in here, like 3… and the emotions felt genuine enough so yk not a complete waste of time but I am never listening to AJR again! (esp since this is their highest rated album on here ☠️)

The piano on this album omgg

Quite different from Corrine Bailey Rae’s previous work but she totally pulls it off and I love the sound of this! It’s got it’s harsh and dreamy moments that go together really well. I have so many favourites off of here and I’m looking forward to future re-listens :)

so so pretty, Laufeys vocals, as everyone already knows, are incredible- so smooth! A very dreamy lovesick, relaxing and melancholic album. Only thing setting this back for me is that some of the tracks feel a bit similar and start to melt into each other in my mind :’)

I used to listen to my dead girlfriend all the time like 3?? years ago so it’s nice to properly sit down and listen to this album again. A few misses but overall the instrumentals are really good and the vocals fit well :P I love shoegaze what can I say
