Lemonade is one of the smartest albums of the century. Beyonce channeled all her emotions and pain following jay-z’s affair into this emotional, captivating and moving body of work. Every song is a different emotion and phase of grief following the affair that she experienced and I love it. From Denial to rage to sadness to acceptance to forgiveness it encompasses these emotions perfectly. The lyrics are perfect. The sound of the album is perfect. The album is perfect
Wow. That’s all I thought after listening to this album when it came out. I am a massive country music fan and when I heared beyonce was releasing a country album I was instantly exited. The single 16 carriages especially got me even more exited. And that hope and excitement was absolutely met when the album released. It is beautiful from back to front. The first tracks are beautiful both sonically and lyrically. The album then drops to a much more upbeat and pop sound that is easy to ... read more
This album is empowering, different and catchy. I absolutely love the idea of reclaiming black roots in music especially house and dance music. The lyrics are absolutely empowering and confidence boosting and the beats/backing tracks are just incredible in every way. One of the best albums of the 2020s so far. It’s still just as catchy as it was 4 years ago. Just like her previous self titled album it’s pure hits. The groovy disco music paired with the Catchy and clever lyrics create one of the best listening experiences. Possible the easiest album to dance, vibe and listen to. I love it
Such an underrated album!! The vibes are perfect, I absolutely love the summer themes and vibes throughout. I think the concept of going through the ups and downs of life whilst till being positive and optimistic is amazing! I don’t understand why this album isn’t shown very much love as it’s just as catchy and high quality as her previous 2 albums. I was hooked on the first listen!
