When people think of the British Punk Rock scene, particularly the first wave of punk, the first bands that come to mind are the Sex Pistols and The Clash, for good reasons obviously. The Clash are arguably one of the best bands to come from this era, and while I'm not that crazy about the Sex Pistols as I used to be, they were definitely important for bringing British Punk Rock to the masses. Such an ahead of its time album. I feel like you could make this album today and it would still sound great, that's how timeless it sounds. The fact that this was their debut album and they were already coming out with music like this just shows how talented these guys were.
I don't think it's THAT bad, kinda just sounds like a Joji rip off with corny lyrics and a generirc Lo-Fi beat
