Not only did reviewing redveil’s “learn 2 swim” put me at peace with the forced used of lowercase, it made me an instant fan of his work from the first listen, and I can’t begin to stress just how rare that truly is.

On the brink of adulthood, Redveil already demonstrates maturity. It’s unfortunate that he struggles to capture it in the recordings.

Jazzy and saturated in a different way than Niagara, and a much more introspective and creative focus to the production, rapping, and meaning. I remember the time when Fantano didn't like this guy's music and a whole Twitter beef and other stuff started. Never understood what had actually happened that day. Anyway, this project titled "learn 2 swim" by redveil is an incredible surprise to me! "Niagara" had its moments but the rapper lacked experience and now he sounds incredibly mature! This is truly a rapper that I'd like to hear more of in the future! Nice stuff in here!
