Boldy James - Murder During Drug Traffic

Naah this producer needs to lock tf in these beats ain’t making it😐😐😐

Ghais Guevara - The Old Guard Is Dead
NR

On my soul when the album drops it will be another must hear for ghais it’s insane atp he just doesn’t miss ever

Boldy James & The Alchemist - Super Tecmo Bo
76

The first 6 tracks feature some of Boldys best songs ever but then the next two songs after has these really uninteresting beats and Boldys flows remain the same during the whole duration of each song. Really a shame considering the flow that the first songs of the album gets in really teases us of what a perfect Boldy-Al project could have sounded like. I’m very mixed towards this project and since we never really got another collab album after this it just leaves a sour taste after each ... read more

Boldy James and Conductor Williams is a match made in heaven

BUMPING THAT

"shit gon repeat if all you do is delay"

Future - WE STILL DON'T TRUST YOU

It kinda pop's off at the end but at that time it's already way too late.
Also i'm so mad at the fact that they acutally made two seperate albums instead of just one. Like imagine if they put the BANGERS on both projects together into one single album, it would've been one of the best trap albums of all time

Kendrick Lamar - meet the grahams
NR

Waking up to three new disstracks is actually insane

ericdoa - DOA
NR

What a catchy record, I just wished that all the songs were as hard hitting as the best ones.

Marika Hackman - Big Sigh
NR

Was very sceptical at first but oh this grew on me. So easy to listen to and so calming, really helps with the piano piece in the middle wich kinda made me seperate the album into two parts.

21 Savage - american dream
56

Pretty good trap album really strong start but many songs in the middle just feels a little boring and his features outshines him on many tracks, standout being Lil Durk like damn he going hard. Its a really good quality project tho with most tracks being really okay althought not a lot of them struck with me.

On Kanye West - BULLY
"@bloxbusters It’s rooted in both. The Austrian architect Adolf Loos, seen as the inventor of western minimalism, wrote in a manifesto called “Ornament and Crime” his ideas behind it. I’d recommend you reading parts of it yourself, but to summarize: WHITE SUPREMACY. Loos says that ornaments come from the same desires as tatoos, to be “erotic”(😭), declaring that tatoos (a common non western tradition) belongs to “degenerates” and “criminals”. He later lists, while using slurs ofc, people of Slavic, Persian and African descent and claims these to be those less sophisticated. All of this above, and then there is his intention to remove every cultural object"

On Kanye West - BULLY
"@mangofried the aesthetics of Bully (+ the rollout) has been a very dull-grey minimalism. Minimalism in the western sense is rooted in fascism, cultural erasure while often praised in the capitalistic system for its ability to be mass produced. Bully is flavorless and the danger here lies in making hiphop: a multifarious rich culture into a block of cement. This devolution is harmful."

"@znorth3 BACK2DATRAP was Lancey's last album under Human Re Sources and therefore his last release under a major label. All the rage stuff afterwards have either been released trough smaller labels or independently, so I don’t see how any of his rage music except for maybe B2DT even could be studio mandated."

"@BigSimone what I meant is that they used the full song files from his 2024 album instead of purely the vocal files so therefore they had to separate the vocals from the original songs. Ik it’s confusing but I hope u get what I mean😭"
On Rakim - The RE-UP
"But I don’t know what they did lol, I only made a guess. The vocal separation tool is pretty common today and from my experience it seldom works well."
On Rakim - The RE-UP
"@BigSimone listen to Rakims 2024 album and compare it to this. There’s no way the same vocal file was used. If so, they fucked up the mix big time."
On Rakim - The RE-UP
"@BigSimone 90% of times when artists are separating vocals from a beat, an AI tool is used. There’s nothing morally wrong with it since it only is a tool. But it is AI"
