Here, on "Miss Anthropocene" we find Grimes at her most human-like, the melodies are not as ear candy or vibrant like before but instead they're more dark and complex, which most of the time is a very good thing and works all along the album. She gets serious about subjects like climate change, death of friends, war and all of that because of what's going on in the world, even if usually she does it very subtly and with ambiguity but always with a such beautiful production that she ... read more
After the charming and dreamy like "Visions", here in "Art Angels" Grimes turned on the turbo and just went mad with this pop banger of album. When I'm playing video games and want to listen to an album at the same time, this is my go-to choice. "Art Angels" gives such an adrenaline and a rush of emotions, that we only imagine ourselves as a video game character doing the most crazy shit with this record as the background music goes on. Track by track, Frank Ocean takes us on an ... read more
The first LP that gifted Frank Ocean to the world and yes "gifted", because this album is a gift. A journey of a young boy that takes us, listeners, too on a journey with him. From start to finish, this album is epic and along with other R&B acts, revived the genre and with good, great, excellent music. Just like the track and the movie "Forrest Gump" this is an album that accompanies the life of the protagonist, Frank Ocean, his struggles, loves, joys, with sadness, ... read more
