Smooth Operator and Hang On To Your Love alone makes this album a masterpiece

It’s alright! There’s a lot to like here, especially the raw emotion and production. Wish this was more of a positive experience for Rivers, though.
That said, lot of moments where I winced with embarrassment.

The production still stands up to this day. Wondering what Lil Boat of today would do if he attempted this again

Edgy derivative Juice WRLD/Don Toliver wannabe trash, jam packed with the most generic trap beats that would’ve been old in 2017.

A beautiful, if at times ugly and personal, look into the artist’s mind during the time he recorded this. It contains some of his most interesting and meh material post-Motown.
