the front half of this album all the way until the last of england is very impressive. the last bit is just there I guess. love mustafa's vocals in this album, I need to tune in.
this album (and mark) does a lot of good press for harmonicas
definitely better and sharper than the first ep. love their album art , it's so refreshing.
Now I experienced why this album has been getting all that love online for years, with me actively avoiding it cos it appeared as another overrated dense folk albums.
I mean it doesn't help with the long song titles and several 6+ minute tracks.

personally, my favourite fiona apple album.
it grew on me after third listen and I must say it was definitely refreshing. the witty wordplay here....this is what happens when rappers don't skip school. When I get the whole picture about the villains I'll rate this 101.
This pretty solid album. I like how light the recordings are. you can 100% tell these weren't recorded in a studio booth. Having Credits! and The Dress in the same album gets you 80+ I'm afraid.
It doesn't get better than this. Hearing Kiss of Life as a young adult brings so much nostalgia.
