As close to a perfect album as one could expect.
Stream of consciousness review:
For an hour and three minutes you are fully consumed by the world built by Sleep Token - beatifully diverse, wonderfully fun (sexy), and crushingly depressing. Three 6 + minute epics are the tentpoles of this record, showing within their respective runtimes a range of themes and sounds that are rarely explored in full albums - and this is not just diversity for diversity's sake: IT'S DONE WELL.

At times fun - a few of the songs later in the album just kind of melt together in my mind, though.
Not as bombastic and urgent as Collide, but that was a decade ago. A lot of the DNA that went into the slower songs on that album can really be seen here.

A triumphant expression of joy and hope in a world that is hopeless. Just like 2020s Nothing Is True and Everything is Possible, the timing of the release of ... read more
Was very much looking forward to this release. Their last album (Greatest Hits) was one of my favourites of the year, and the singles leading up to this record were (for the most part) fun, catchy and occasionally showed a different side of the band.
Unfortunately, I think the singles were the best parts of the album, as is often the case - but I still think it really holds together as a collection of songs, with strong storytelling and pacing. I just wish that the level of quality had ... read more
