Coldplay - Moon Music
NR

One of my least favorites of the year. What happened to this band?

The Microphones - Mount Eerie
NR

Unique. Might need another listen to fully appreciate and understand it

Fontaines D.C. - Skinty Fia
NR

Can't say I was the biggest fan of this one but it was still solid enough. Didn't have as many stand out tracks as their newest album

Porter Robinson - Nurture
NR

Didn’t love it as much as Smile but it’s still very good. Will be coming back to a lot of these tracks

The Maine - The Maine
NR

These guys are so underrated

The Fray - The Fray Is Back
NR

Basically what you would expect out of The Fray in 2024. An easy listen that is safe and generic

Mason Ramsey - I'll See You In My Dreams
NR

Very solid! Much better than you'd expect from the "Walmart Yodeling Kid". He has done an amazing job of shedding that image and making a legit name for himself. I think he could be huge as he gets older

Hippo Campus - Flood
NR

My least favorite from these guys. Their stuff is usually pretty generic but fun. This one isn't that fun!

Fontaines D.C. - Romance
NR

So good! Favourite has been on repeat since I first listened to this a few days ago. That song is incredible

Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
NR

I feel like a lot of the albums I've heard from 2002 sound a bit dated and of their time. Not this one though. It still sounds fresh and timeless

Gregor Barnett - Don't Go Throwing Roses In My Grave
NR

It’s a decent record, especially if you’re a fan of The Menzingers. They’re one of my favorite bands but I’m glad he left these songs for his solo project

mgk - Tickets To My Downfall
NR

There are a few jams in here but the entire time I felt like I'd rather be listening to any pop punk from 15-20 years ago instead of this. This is about as generic as the genre gets but it's still catchy

Favorite Track: Bloody Valentine

Manchester Orchestra - The Million Masks Of God
NR

I never expected this to reach the heights of ABMTTS and after a few listens it isn't quite at that level but it's still really good. Telepath is an absolutely beautiful song.

Favorite Track: Telepath

The Vaccines - What Did You Expect from the Vaccines?
NR

I love this album so much and it definitely helped shape my taste when I was younger. It still holds up for me

Favorite Track: All In White

The Vaccines - Come of Age
NR

This album starts incredibly strong and definitely has a weaker second half but it's still really nostalgic to me. It's a nice follow up to their fantastic debut

Favorite Track: I Always Knew

Lorde - Pure Heroine
NR

A really great debut and she was only like 16 or 17 years old at the time which makes it more impressive. Displaying this type of talent so young, it's no surprise that she followed this up with an even better second album

Favorite Track: Team

Hodera - United by Birdcalls
NR

It's a pretty good album but isn't totally memorable. I hear a little American Football inspiration but obviously not quite on their level

Favorite Track: Breathe Easy

Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
NR

A truly great and timeless album. It's still incredibly relevant today and all music lovers need to listen to it

Favorite Track: What's Going On

The Killers - Pressure Machine
NR

The Killers most beautiful album by a wide margin and some of Brandon Flowers best song writing yet.

They're not trying to write stadium anthems here and it ends up being one of their most unique albums in a long time

Favorite Track: Pressure Machine

BROCKHAMPTON - SATURATION II
NR

GUMMY is one hell of a way to open up an album. This is a step up from the first Saturation. This is probably my favorite of the trilogy. Any song that Bearface is featured on will always be one of my favorites
