I gotta listen to Lord Huron more. This was my first full album of theirs I’ve listened to and it’s one of my favorites of the year so far
Went in with low expectations and came out with a really solid summer album. Lots of catchy tracks here
Surprisingly liked this one more than The Greatest Generation. It’s my favorite from this band so far!
Quite baffled how this is the highest rated album of the year on this site. Kinda makes me trust the scores less since I thought this album was pretty bad lol
I loved these guys in high school and even surprisingly loved Wilder Mind. But man this album and their previous one are really rough. I’m sure it’s a little bit of me outgrowing them but also the songs are just so bland now
MO has been one of my favorite bands for nearly 15 years and I had no clue this existed until this week. I can’t believe they’ve never officially released this because it’s so good!! Some truly great tracks here. It’s such a special feeling hearing new (old) tracks from one of your favorite bands
The Lumineers first 3 albums are all favorites of mine. Brightside didn’t hit the same but I was hoping it was just a bump in the road. Unfortunately this one is more of the same. There’s nothing worse than when one of your favorite bands starts to go downhill. I’m still hopeful they can make another great record at some point and I’ll always look forward to their new releases
David Lynch could literally do it all. Film, TV, music, painting. RIP to one of the greatest pure artists ever. There will never be anyone else like him
Not exactly what I was expecting or hoping for from a new Ethel Cain project but if she’s making the music she wants then I’ll be listening. This at least shows she’s not afraid to make whatever she feels like
Not as good as their 2024 album but a perfectly fine listen. Faint of Heart has been one of my favorite songs for a while though. Nothing else clicked as much as that one
Sometimes an album like this is what you need. Catchy indie pop songs that are a joy to listen to
I first listened to this probably 5 years ago and I liked it but didn’t come back to it much. I absolutely loved it on this listen and I think some of these songs are going to become favorites of mine
This is a very solid cover album. Obviously I’d rather listen to the original though. Ethel Cain and Manchester Orchestra were the highlights, just as I expected
Surprisingly consistent for being 69 songs. Lots of songs I’ll be coming back to on this one
I loved this! I’m only familiar with their big hits so it was cool to dive into a full album. Gonna have to check out more since this was great
I enjoyed this album but the song Purple Rain is just…wow. Incredible stuff
