Honestly, after several more listens, this project hits me harder and harder every time. The power behind it is insane the way they blend raw emotion, sharp punchlines, and that cold Buffalo atmosphere feels completely authentic from start to finish. You can really feel the pain, the hunger, and the reality in the music, which gives the whole project so much depth.
I genuinely think this might be the most accomplished and cohesive project in his already incredible discography. The guest ... read more
Considering his talent, he’s capable of something far greater. The project is good and well executed, but it feels a little too simple and restrained compared to what he can truly create. He needs more extravagance, more risk, more creative madness...
It’s a very cinematic album.
I can clearly see how strong Laufey is everything feels controlled and elegant.
But I still feel a bit distant.
I admire it more than I connect with it, and I can’t fully get into her world on this project.
She’s honestly incredible. She’s captivating, whether it’s through her guitar or her voice, and her blend of genres is really unique. With every project, she surprises me more. it’s both touching and technically impressive.
Her three-track EP really shows it: in such a short format, she builds a strong, cohesive world while still exploring different vibes. Between intimate moments and more daring passages, she proves she can do it all without ever forcing it.
Boldy James is coming back strong this year; the chemistry between the two guys is excellent, reflecting their overall level, plain and simple. The project’s length is perfect. it’s exactly what you want: short, intense, and packed with quality tracks. A very solid EP.
A feeling of an album that aims to be grandiose, which can be divisive, but I think that the freedom it allows itself makes it almost magical. It’s a project where energy and emotion constantly intertwine, giving a unique intensity to the whole and making the listening experience both powerful and immersive.
So yes, he has incredible writing, he’s one of those rappers you could call a poet. But everything else is complicated. His flows, his way of rapping… it’s bland. You get bored, which is such a shame considering the quality of the production. With R.A.P Ferreira, I just can’t find that spark I felt since Purple Moonlight...
Tems is doing Tems, it’s made to please the fans, nothing crazy. It’s almost sloppy, but she’s still extremely talented.
This is quality. Probably Armand Hammer’s most accessible project, and it’s still really good, this duo never disappoints. And the tracks with Earl are always fire!
With Preservation, there’s nothing to say, wherever he goes, he brings his own universe. This guy is on fire! Put some respect on his name.
This guy is on fire. He keeps staying productive, and I have no idea how he manages to be this sharp and relevant every time. A beautiful project with heartfelt tributes, it hits you right in the gut from the very first track. Man, Navy takes time to appreciate, but once you understand his universe, you realize he’s just way too good. Anyway, my favorite project of the year. Nothing to complain about just applause!
This duo may be a bit repetitive, but damn, they complement each other so well. It’s a much better project than the one from July, they really redeemed themselves. It took until the ninth project of the year for me to be fully won over by our guy Boldy… I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not ...
