It’s quite amazing and it’s better than The Bends, but I don’t honestly think this is deserving of the second greatest album of all time in my own opinion. It didn’t feel as grand or profound as I was expecting, which may be the victim of expectation. I will come back to this as I feel my opinion could change, but at the moment I thoroughly enjoyed it but can’t help but feel the tiniest bit disappointed.
Fairly generic and boring, there were only small parts here and there, especially the end of the last track, that really stood out.
Damn this is good, Denzel has to lean into this high energy jazz style more in the future, loved this.
Lewis Capaldi finds a way to use his amazingly talented voice in some of the worst ways that I can think of. I feel like I’m listening to a nonstop karaoke performance of an amateur vocalist who decides to belt and ruin the effect of almost every song.
This is really bad, the good parts were at best only slightly tolerable but the fact that it’s 80 mins of garbage takes away pretty much all value. Probably the worst album of 2023 so far.
