it's a fine alternative metal album. enjoyable all the way throughout, although it's too repetitve at times.
Thousand Below’s 4th album feels like a perfect mixture of everything they’ve done up to that point. I’ve always had a soft spot for this band and this record only reinforces that.
The 1-2 punch of Kerosene and Palace of Dread is imo a 10/10 way to start the record and those are probably my favorite songs here

I liked this album at first, but never really revisited it. It’s just fine octanecore, there aren’t any bad songs here, but nothing all that great either - maybe except Shapeshifter and Necessary Evil
what the fuck is this
Etienne Sin is legitimately better than this, I’m not even kidding
idk for some reason I really like the title track but I can’t be bothered to sit through the whole thing
To The Flowers is goated though.
pretty mid ://
there are some enjoyable songs and there wasn’t really anything “bad” per se on this album, but it wasn’t all that great either
the fucking breakdown at the end of billy knows jamie
overall a really enjoyable album but I sadly didn't really like tracks 8 & 9 at all
I don’t get the hate for this song, doesn’t sound too far off from something like Darkbloom. Claiming they suddenly went octanecore is so ignorant to me, they have been flirting with this sort of sound since like 2013.
i straight up think this is one of the coolest metalcore albums ever made
its a fine octanecore song. i instantly thought it was tyler smyth because the guitars really sound like FIR
ngl, I feel like a lot of the hate for this band is just performative at this point
this album really grew on me, I didn't really like it at first, but it's just one of those records that seem to get better with every listen.
some of these lyrics are so relatable that its uncanny
Landmvrks is one of those bands that continue to hit the mvrk (lol) time and time again. Their brand of metalcore with some nu metal influences is really unique, even if it doesn't deviate much from your standard metalcore formula. They have managed to create a sound that feels truly theirs – and I think that's what sets them apart from the other bands in this space. There are some (imo very welcome) Linkin Park elements in this album, especially in the songs The Great Unknown ... read more
my first impression is that it's a really good and creative EP, somewhat plagued by a muddy mix which sometimes makes it near impossible to hear what the guitarist is playing. I do appreciate the creativity though and I feel like the move from solo artist to band is utilized here in a way that it wasn't on the standalone singles released by Rivilin last year.
As with most of their tracks, this hits best when you're spiraling down mentally
