This album is overhated. I love the experimental route that Tyler went for. Even if not every song hits, I appreciate him trying something different. Yeah, it might be one of his weaker albums, but saying that and giving it an 80/100 tells you a lot about this album and the rest of his discography.

While I think the instrumentation on this album is good and on a technical level this band is obviously talented, I think where it falls flat for me is it's too much in too little amount of time.
This album holds a special place in my heart because it was one of the first rap albums I listened. Revisiting it years later, it's even better than I remember. Snoop Dogg's recognizable chilled out voice and his flow are top notch. Do I even need to talk about the production, Dr. Dre produced this album, 'nuff said.

Pusha T and Malice were great here as were all the features, my favorites being Kendrick Lamar on Chains and Whips and Tyler, the creator on POV. Pharrell williams did incredible work with the production, my favorite beats were Chains and whips and So be it.
