this guy just made me like funk brasileiro

it's like seeing someone's insides

i mean it's not bad
but the intro builds up into something grandiose
and then i didn't find that grandiosity and experimentation I've found in flower boy or igor

then again, i might've just turned into closeted man

i was not expecting such minimalism, rawness and artistry on this project

but then again I'm dumb af cause this is k-dot we're talking about

took me 2 more years to remember that this guy remixed one of my favorite hip hop albums

one of my favorite records ever and it's not even one of my favorite records ever.

it's just undeniable the ambiance and sonic space that overmono create on this tracks. makes you nostalgic, transports you somewhere else, yet makes you so present at the same time.

and oh the cover has a doberman that's nice

This shit starts off perfect and then they just decide to make the weirdest mix possible midway through. and it's not an 80 cause i don't see a doberman on the cover

ohhh so this is the guy that inspired the guy that inspired the guy that makes all my favorite beats nowadays. and his smile on the cover, looks like he knows we bout to hear one of the greatest records ever made

portishead actually reminds me of "porta-chaves" which is the word for keychain in portuguese, honestly i don't know where I'm going with this but great record

I don't think there are many trap albums as good as this joint. Love the fact that every song has a little sonic moment. It makes the experience a true carousel ride. 🍿

One of the first vinyl discs I bought. One of the first albums I fully listened to when I started my "I'ma be a music nerd now" journey. I know 95% of the lyrics. Very special for me this one. 🎈

The live show for this album was something I've never experienced before. The songs carry so much energy and youth. It has a space in my heart right now. ☁

Ladies and Germs, this is what a perfect album looks like, as you can see each song has some kind of special auditive moment that you just can lay down and vibe to or break the mirrors of your car just from pure joy. If you see one of these laying around, I advise you to listen to it, create a relationship with it, have babies, who tf knows, just have sex with and while listening to this album, I assure you it has both functions. 🌈

This is so underrated. YOU UNDERESTIMATE THE MASTERPIECE. 🐆

update: i don't think i like this that much

I love the ambiance on these tracks. So much different from OK Computer. It does not have the same impact that that album has, but it has got some strong replay value. The electronic sounds on this are amazing. 🗻
