Hideki Taniuchi & Yoshihisa Hirano - Death Note Original Soundtrack

Death Note is one of my favorite shows ever made. For sure in my top 5 (That's coming from someone who generally doesn't really like anime). This soundtrack is just one of this shows qualties, with masterful placement and incredibly defining character themes from the somber theme of Rem to the classic L theme. Such a good soundtrack

Anthrax - Spreading the Disease

This is a classic record. This is the album that put Anthrax on the map as one of the Thrash legends. As I said in my last Anthrax review. They are my less favorite of the 4. However all the thrashsterpieces deserve the upmost praise. Spreading the Disease is an absolutely amazing record that deserves every ounce of praise its gotten.

This album is such a fucking snoozer. Everything just feels so...functional and its so lame, there isnt an ounce of creativity. I accepted this album at some point because it was Tool but fuck no not anymore, this album isn't terrible much like 10,000 days, it is just holy unspectacular

Nowadays, I recognize that this album is more pretentious than complex and deep. Don't get my wrong, this album more than any other Tool album has deepness and complexity, it's just not mind blowing as I once thought it was. I have to give credit to this album for having tightness, the best written songs, real edge that ... read more

PRYING OPEN MY THIRD EYE

Ænima is Tools second album and is definitely a big improvement over the first. It is equally as dark as Undertow but it is a lot more unique among itself. This album gains like 10 points based on Third Eye alone, one of the best album closers ever. The only issue is just the absolute pretentiousness of this album and how epic it makes itself out to be. It's not even like this albums instrumentation is that ... read more
