On experimental rap, Peggy is guilty of the exact things he was accusing his contemporaries like Earl and Alchemist of doing, not evolving at all. Not even done listening to the album yet but I can already safely say that this feels phoned in. Almost as if he’s got some kind of record company obligation his gotta fulfill by putting this out. His energy just isn’t there. All the flows are very samey and he doesn’t have enthusiasm for the music.
