I like darkness enough and the features were okay for the most part but, surprise surprise, Eminem still sucks at rapping and I had to skip most songs on the album. Still better than revival I guess but I'm not sure if that's much of a compliment. Also, I just didn't like the production at all on most tracks

Absolutely stunning record in almost every sense of the word.
Whilst I do love some ambient records/artists (Boards of Canada, Tim Hecker, etc), sometimes I find it hard to return to the record if i'm not in the right state of mind as sometimes they will do nothing for me. Much prefer this to daydream nation tbh.

This is one of my favourite albums of all time, and there's good reason for it; it just makes me feel good.
Something about this album, whether it be the beautiful singing or the relaxed atmosphere, that just almost never fails to put into a good mood.
That's the reason it's part of my 'feel good square' of albums: Is this it - the strokes, WWCOHWWG - The Unicorns, Weezer Blue and This album.
Musical therapy.
