Lelo really surprised me with "Mastiff". I didn’t know what to expect going into this EP, but the flows and smooth Detroit trap production were great throughout the whole tracklist. Coming off "New Detroit" in 2025, he kept the momentum going in a big way here.
The first three tracks are especially crazy and set the tone immediately. For a shorter EP, this thing is really consistent front to back and easily some of the best material I’ve heard from Lelo so far.
HeyJune really impressed me with "six", which is easily my favorite project I’ve heard from him so far. I already enjoyed "New Life" from 2025, but this EP feels like a clear step up in terms of energy, delivery, and overall consistency.

Ole 60 delivered a really pleasant surprise with "Smokestack Town". There’s nothing especially groundbreaking or genre-pushing here, but the project succeeds through consistently solid songwriting, catchy hooks, and a concise tracklist that never overstays its welcome.
