Weezer - OK Human
95

screw you guys this is a perfect weezer album

Code Orange - The Above
50

This is a really interesting project- I'm glad that Code Orange isn't scared to get weird and different. I'm not entirely sure how it all lands with me just yet- I'm gonna need some time to come back to this one. Could definitely see it growing.

Björk - Homogenic

holy shit

Mitski - The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We

sometimes crying isn’t enough

Muse - Origin of Symmetry

Unbelievable. Incredible. Powerful. Purely amazing.

I wish I liked Muse's other albums NEARLY as much as this.

Björk - Debut
75

Björk's real solo debut establishes a wonderfully unique and interesting sound that really captivates me. It doesn't land for me 100% of the time, but I really love a lot of the ideas here.

Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde
95

I've finally decided to begin my journey of exploring Bob Dylan's discography, and I'm so glad I decided to start here. Absolutely blown away by the amazing songwriting on this thing; to pick it apart would be doing it a massive disservice. I'm super excited to continue discovering one of the most innovative artists to ever do it.

Fall Out Boy - We Didn't Start The Fire
40

Goddamn this is terrible. They missed the entire point of the original. Poor taste rhymes, completely missing chronological order, and awful awful production make this one of my least favorite things this band has done.

(Edit: 15 -> 40) ok it's not that bad

Foo Fighters - But Here We Are
85

An amazing experience that I don’t know when I’ll have the strength to revisit.

I know it’s just a rock album, but man, those last two songs absolutely destroyed me. Grief is hard. Please go hug the people you love and tell them how much you love them.

Queens of the Stone Age - Emotion Sickness
90

LET’S GO QUEENS!!!! This is an amazing evolution of the sound from Villains, but this time with good production! The groove of this song is amazing and the chorus is INSAAAAANE

Glory to Rome.

Metallica - Lux Æterna
70

While certainly a bit formulaic, Metallica prove that they are still masters in the sound that they helped create.
