easily goes from glitch pop to some of the most laid back and intricate ballads of the year

i haven't listen to the album enough times but this single is just the most beautiful and heartbreaking thing ever

Anyways, the album is okay, has some good tracks, some forgettable songs, but nothing outright terrible.

Part of me thinks Isolation is a superior project, but this might be a lot more ambitious and the staple for future “spanglish” latin-pop albums. Hope I’m not the only one fantasysing about being at a party with that person you find attractive while “la luz” plays in the background.

The strong singles were indicative of a strong project from IDLES. Back when the album came out a good portion of people were bitching about the band being “sold-outs”?? Idk what y’all were on but as someone who has tiptoed into the bands’ discography since 2018, this is the project that finally fully gripped me into them.
