Just simply understand that I'm not into these linear, poorly mixed Riddim songs. It feels like they're trying to be weird for the sake of being more weird, and some of them just sounds nothing more like loud metal clashing noises. At least there's still something gold to be found here.

A couple of chill tracks that I enjoy a fair amount, and they make for a quite interesting start for IX Fall$ in 2025. These are well-rounded breakbeats(?) with a strong focus on background ambience, elevating the atmosphere throughout. I think they might work well when I'm in the mood—they're just not the kind of music I'd often loop.

Been diving into Easy Password's discography for a while now, and it's amazing to see him take a step on Circus Records. You literally can't miss his colorful, top-notch sound design that takes you to the highest level of gratification. Immaculate production, ethereal soundscape, all makes a Easy Password that I've come to know and love. Not his best work to date, but it does deliver at its finest.

Knock2 starts off 2025 with his long-awaited debut solo record "nolimit", and honestly, it was well worth the wait. This 17-track collection is a consistent powerhouse of energy, thanks to Knock2's meticulous attention to detail in production and overall quality. It's perfectly crafted for a pure dance record with groovy basslines and clubby vibe. While sticking to his classic signature House/Trap sound, he also ventured into genre-bending experiments like Drum & Bass or ... read more
Kicking off the year with such a bombastic collection of Future Riddim and Hybrid Trap, splitter proves that he's consistently stepping up his game in the underground EDM scene. This EP just goes with live energy, mind-blowing production and jazzy elements, thereby creating a really exhilarating experience. What I adore most about this record is the level of creativity executed throughout every tracks. The genres transitions are incredibly impressive, and the way splitter nails them with a ... read more
A laid-back listening experience with heartwarming production and lyrics, and your quintessential San Holo's serene atmosphere. However, I don't see myself being into the existential sound here as much as I was with his previous album. It feels like there was something missing here, so that I couldn't fully engage in this record. That said, San still did a great job here, though.

From the moment I first discovered Vylet Pony through "Girls Who Are Wizards", I never expected her music to resonate with me as deeply as it did once I explored more of her earlier works, like "ANTONYMPH". However, with "Monarch of Monsters", Vylet Pony once again left me in awe of her incredible talent and the profound impact her music can have. This album takes you into a world of darkness, surrounded by the horrors of sexual assault and grooming. There are also ... read more
Stylistically, everything from this record is so impeccably crafted. The consistent sound design in each track, combined with the grand yet haunting worldbuilding that surrounds the entire album, all makes the experience here even more fascinating. I honestly don't usually spend time diving into J-core much, but there's always something about it that intrigues me a lot. Here, Laur provides us plenty of satisfaction with high-energy rhythms and thrilling soundscapes, which contributes ... read more
After over five years in the melodic scene, CHENDA's gearing up for his long-awaited debut album. Packed with different layers of emotions throughout a 11-track collection, this record reflects a personal journey filled with heartfelt experiences and nostalgia. However, I feel that CHENDA has long passed his prime, and his work no longer interests me in the same way. Most of the tracks here followed a rather dated format that isn't my enthusiasm much, and it just fell short of my ... read more
What Louis The Child delivers here is an enjoyable, feel-good dance record with quite interesting ideas, albeit not being in line with my personal preferences much. The songwriting is solid, and the bass production stands out here. It's groovy, dynamic, and perhaps the most remarkable element of the album for me. The major flaw, however, is that these tracks don't leave much impression, making them feel somewhat average and forgettable. A fair-to-middling album overall.

The ear-catching, clubby atmosphere in camoufly's music is undeniable, and on this project it fully takes center stage. That said, many of these tracks here feel more fleeting rather than memorable, leaning on short-term catchiness instead of leaving something memorable enough behind. Still, I do think it's a solid addition to his catalog.

Apart from the genre diversity, this didn't do much for me rather than being a normal melodic record. I appreciate the pleasant atmosphere Jason Ross delivers here, and the songwriting is pretty good. However, the production doesn't feel particularly groundbreaking, as it follows the same ideas as most melodic stuff I've heard these days.

With its focus on tonal variety and creative ideas , "Stealing Fire" is brilliantly on its game. I can't quite grasp how captivating this record has been for me since the first time I listened to it. The well-crafted tunes showcase a colorful yet much heavier signature sound from Virtual Riot, making this record a more exciting listening experience. The production is top-notch, the energy provided is stunning, and most of the experimental stuffs are truly incredible. While ... read more
A decent alt/indie rock EP with some trap tracks that break up the euphoric atmosphere created throughout. Nothing remarkably stands out here, yet there are no major flaws either.

A more polished approach to the production compared to the original album. I'm glad to see that it still retains the core energy of the original and continue to enhance it, leaving another impression on me about Eliminate's fascinating sound design. There are a few tracks where I wish the ideas could have been more innovative, but overall it's a great experience.

Going through a whirlwind of euphoric emotions, the third studio album from Porter Robinson is, for me, his best work to date. From start to finish, every elements here from the production, songwriting and melodies are all flawlessly constructed, contributing to a thrilling and deeply impactful experience. A by-the-books Neurofunk record with more growls and heavy basses. It's definitely amazing, but I feel that it could have used more variations in the production, though.

Typically a burst of fresh energy, "Digital Reassurance" from Marcix showcases intricate layers of complex sound and funky instrumental in each tracks. I'm fine with the mixing here, though at times it feels a bit overprocessed on certain tracks. Aside from that, the record still offers a solid experience with interesting ideas and dynamic sound.

Pretty an unexpected approach to a heavier side from MYLK, but the overall results are really solid, tho. The 8-bit influence was implemented really well with electronic elements, and this package definitely has its own perks. That being said, this type of Bass music doesn't draw my attention much like the way it once did.
