i have spent significantly more time with this than any other piece of art and it will definitely stay as my favorite for a while
its helped me through so much since I listened to it a few years ago

I expected this to be crude and unwelcoming and for this assumption i am a fool
This album is like if Debussy whipped out a guitar and started shredding Purple Rain
The most ahead of its time piece of art I’ve experienced maybe ever

(66 years between Debussy and Purple Rain vs. 67 years between this album and 2025 😳)

I'm probably in the minority but I wish Phil would stick to just his voice and an acoustic guitar more

HOW is this not more well known?? An album created primarily by Basquiat?? How have I been on this website for two and a half years and yet I've never seen anyone talk about this?? AND ITS SO GOOD TOO?? I didn't even learn about this through aoty, or anything related to music! I learned about it from a book on Basquiat! Lock in people!
