I need to buy a big white cowboy hat so I can recreate the cover while I cry listening to this album. songs sold me on her music in general, but this album has made me a permanent fan of hers. and "to the ocean of your love I am a river" makes me tear up every single time
listened to this for the first time a few months ago while christmas shopping at the mall and I felt like I was in a supercomputer. crazy to think this shit came out in 2003. still sounds boundary pushing 20+ years later
I'm gonna formally review this eventually, but for now I'll just say that this album is the equivalent to the greatest hug you've ever received. second favorite album of all time, one which influenced my favorite album of all time
