fiinally listened to all of boards of canada's albums before inferno dropped ! this is just off of a first listen, and I can totally see this growing on me with repeated listens, but yeah this was very very good. it didn't have nearly as many super memorable moments as their first two albums, but there are no bad songs. this is almost certainly my most listened to album of the year so far. it's quickly become one of my comfort albums, as I'm such a sucker for this indie folk sound. incredibly consistent, beautiful vocals. 'kill what you eat' is so far my most listened to song of the year, I just can't stop.
