This album is awful. I was pretty excited but wasn't surprised when we got something of this quality. Nakamura is likely the only song I will ever come back to off this album. Maybe I just wanna rock too. Just because an artist tries something new doesn't mean they do it well. Yachty did it right, uzi did it so so very wrong. At least there are a few generic-ass uzi songs to make the stans happy.

A pretty solid debut, you can definitely tell it's his first though as he greatly improved on later records. This album is very rough sounding and while that somewhat holds it back, also kinda helps it out. I'm just starting to get into DOOM but one of my favorite things is the references to comics and cartoons, and there's plenty of that here. Pretty solid addition, "NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!" is my favorite track and I think the title is hilarious as well as the album cover so honestly +2 points for that
My favorite album of 2022 and will most likely be at least 3/5 of my top-played songs. Beats could be better, but JID's talents help out every mid-beat on this album. Raydar manages to be a fantastic song throughout its entire runtime despite running the risk of having 2 (and sort of 3) significant beat changes. Dance Now is my new go-to essential JID track.
