You know, I thought it wouldn't get better than Naked City by Zorn, but wow was I heavily disproven.

Boredoms - Super æ
96

Wow this was really good, the vocals from eYe and the instrumentals themselves really provided an amazing experience that I would not mind going over again.

ዓለማየሁ እሸቴ [Alemayehu Eshete] - ዓለማየሁ እሸቴ እና ሸበሌ ባንድ (Alèmayèhu Eshèté & Shèbèlé's Band)
85

This was good, and I would like to hear more. I know there is an unofficial tape which I would like to listen to, thanks to @JennyStar, so let's see how it goes.

ハナタラシ [Hanatarash] - 3: William Bennett Has No Dick
68

I found it interesting; however, minus points for throwing a dead cat at the crowd. That is not cool ok.

91

This took a much greater turn towards the grindcore, but it was actually really nice. Not to mention the jazz parts were also really interesting. Zorn is annoying though for putting those quiet parts in and then jumpscaring the hell out of me lol.

Oneohtrix Point Never - Tranquilizer
100

Now this is beautiful, and certainly one of the best albums of this year. Lopatin takes a different approach and dives more in the IDM side of things, which I would say he has executed quite well.

Mysteries - Horned Metal - Promo Tape '94
80

This was quite alright, and I will say I was pleasantly surprised.

Boredoms - Super Roots 7
89

Much better than Anal By Anal, and I love its sound.

98

Ok I am sorry about the cover but this is just absolutely stunning.

ዳዊት ገብረሰንበት [Dawit Ghebresenbet] - ሽላን
91

SING YOUR HEART OUT PLEASE, also more people need to listen to this CHOP CHOP.

Blu & Exile - Below the Heavens
97

Listened to this with a good friend of mine @4Riot, and I will say it was a really good experience.

Chris Hadfield - Space Sessions: Songs From A Tin Can
80

What a classic, and I thank Chris Hadfield for allowing me to pursue astrophysics right now.
In case you guys need some context, one of my biggest dreams when I was younger was to be an astronaut, and I was inspired by this guy right here: astronaut Chris Hadfield, commanded the ISS, downhill skiier, occasional guitarist, and ex-member of the United States Air Force.

heavensouls - southside trapped
93

Sound collage? Not sure what to call this, but I will say that it sounds heavenly (haha like the name of the art... I'll see myself out)

Goodie Mob - Soul Food
95

I think the title of the album itself describes its sound perfectly.

Shabazz Palaces - Black Up
97

I listened to this a while ago, but I still remember it so well. Wow was this good, and I think a clear sign of that is that it has wonky as a secondary,

Hashirat - Hashirat at Mechafest 2022
96

Ok before I put in my rating this was put at a 67, ironic, and now that rating which brought it down just suddenly disappeared.

Summoning - Let Mortal Heroes Sing Your Fame
90

@cosine you understood me so well. I really liked this record, and the sound of it as a whole really I think just spoiled me lol.

Brainbombs - Genius and Brutality - Taste and Power
80

This is easily my favourite brainbombs record so far, and that is mainly because he is drowned out so much lol.

Boredoms - Anal by Anal
60

After two more listens, I will say it grew on me a little bit, and I think that's mainly because I am appreciating eYe a bit more now (especially after all those naked city listens), but yeah still not my favourite as I just find it a condensed form of Pop Tatari.

"I mean fair enough, it's good to know you liked some songs still though, but yeah songs like "he never existed in the first place" were a bit hard for me at first too. I don't know what clicked in me but I eventually loved the voices in the band, so I'd say give it a relisten like around this time right now, to gather your thoughts again."
