Ok listen I understand why you guys don't like it, but I think it's one of the reasons why I like it so much.
We love you Mark Kozelek FOR YOUR MUSIC ONLY WHY DIDNT I CHECK IF HE HAD CONTROVERSIES
That first title and the cover go hand-in-hand, but the sound of the album just takes a big detour. I loved it though, and I think more people need to direct their focus on this album :)
Definitely more interesting, and I understand the inclusion of both the tags and also the secondaries dayum.
If you listen to this and you don't laugh your ass off (on first listen) then you are a psychopath and you should get checked. That may be a bit of an over-exaggeration, but not a big one.
I dived into this thinking "Oh it's just another experimental hip hop album". Never in my life was I disproven so fast.
Thank you for the recommendation @4riot
Dennis is right, this definitely needs more attention. Thank you @4riot for the recommendation because this album is beautifully created.
I've never heard of a genre called "Wonky" before, but it's so accurate 😂
This is a really good album, and I am truly happy that I took time out of my day to truly dedicate my focus on it.
Beautiful performance, and I actually forgot how much I liked ballet music until I listened to this. I need to get back into it.
This was magnificent, and it hit all the nerves which it should have. I'm gonna go listen to this on repeat now because wow.
I love this so much, and I thought that it would just be your regular rock album after hearing Leaves Turn Inside You, but I was deeply mistaken.
Way more emotional, and also very good. Loud, and experimental.
Re-rating because I felt like listening to this album again, and I am glad I did. RIP Groggs, and thank you Injury Reserve for producing what I would say is easily one of the greatest experimental albums of all time.
TRAMPS LIKE US, BABY WE WERE BORN TO RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN.
2 and a half hours is a stretch, but not a very big one. Excited to hear the 2024 release now.
This was good, and I'd love to hear more. I understand the complaint of it being dragged, and that is true it did go on a bit too long for the amount of "meat" it had to deliver, but overall it sounded like an album that had some passion behind it.
Art punk is weird, hence why I like it so much. I'm telling you by that 4th song I actually got up out of my seat and started doing the shimmy.
