It was alright, and I liked its experimentation, but it needs more.
New review because my love for this EP skyrocketed to the point where I listened to the entire thing for an hour straight. I don't know what it is that makes me like it so much, but it's just so good.
This was really good, and thanks to @ruberosie for the recommendation.
The live version of this album is ever-flowing with passion and hatred, not to mention hearing that first version of "Motherfucker" was an amazing experience.
What an amazing performance, plus a divine transition across each track.
Bare with me while I process the vocals on this bootleg.
Way better than F# A# and that is fact. Genuinely, how did we find this recording and how is it so clear?
Remember what I said earlier about Ineffable beauty? Same applies here, and wow I really have the two back-to-back live bootlegs as 100s.
I see what they mean by don't judge a book by it's cover.
This recording is magnificent. Just looking at the setlist alone, you can tell that anyone who experienced that show in-person was one step closer to divinity. I genuinely think EVERY single GY!BE fan has to listen to this recording along with the Paradiso recording in 2002.
When I started this recording, I thought that it would just be a way for them to relive the beauty of their previous performances here, but it was more than just that. Mladic live is one of the greatest things I've ever heard.
Updating because I thought I needed a couple more listens, and I was right. The true beauty behind this recording was unmasked, and I see why it is their highest rated live recording, BUT I still prefer the CAT recording as I believe that it is the most phenomenal live performance of all time and that there is no competition.
Do I need to say why I listened to this album? This will be my funeral soundtrack.
All I remember about this was that it was GOOD, and more people need to listen to this.
It emphasizes and obsesses itself in how loud it is, almost like being enraged about this statement.
I feel like this EP really set their mark and brought about a foreshadowing of their beheld future as one of the greatest Post-Rock bands of all time.
