There is a feeling, an attachment and a connection I have for this album. Genuinely, I do not think I would be the person I would be today without this album, and that goes for the rest of my 100s as well. Truly am grateful that this album existed.
A good display of Miku's voice through a medium that isn't boring electronic spammed and pretentious synths.
Yeah it was good, but there were some low moments which ultimately bring it down for me; however, it was still quite good.
What's my main issue with this album? Maybe that it's dragged out for a bit too long, but that's a wanted feature for post-rock. It's just good.
Definitely challenging, but I like that challenge, because it gives me determination, and the album as a whole is constructed with purpose of vocalization rather than greed.
I decided I wanted to listen to one more Honningbarna, and for some reason, contrary to many other people that have reviewed this album, I really enjoyed this album, more so than Soft Spot, and I will stand by that.
Long hiatus but I'm back, and this is a good album to come back with. Loved all of it, and it definitely deserves to be one of the albums to be remembered 10 or 15 years down the line for its variety.
Interesting to say the least, definitely more enjoyable, in my opinion, than the other project.
That rendition of Fast Car is something to desire listening to every day. I don't think it can be topped in terms of covers, despite the original and the Xiu Xiu version existing. The other songs are also amazing, but they are all outshone by Fast Car.
Definitely birthed one of my top KGLW songs of all time (Deadstick), but the rest of the album needed some more of that creative prowess in my opinion. Still, I will give this a couple more relistens to re-confirm my rating.
My digital footprint and my credibility are now ruined by me rating this a 90, but I don't care. This actually had passion behind it, and I like that.
