McKinley Dixon - Magic, Alive!
98

Can this year stop being so good? Bruh I am loving everything that's coming out, and I do not know how many decent 10s I have available until people will spam my shoutbox with "Recency bias!!".

Pale - Our Hearts in Your Heaven
88

I think my love for Blackgaze just overpowers all the other opinions everyone else has, but I truly do believe in the score I gave to this album.

Messa - The Spin
88

Though I did expect more from some of the praise I've seen of this album, it still suffices in providing an enjoyable experience.

SpaceGhostPurrp - Dark Angels
80

This reissue was interesting, and though I never completely liked SGP, I feel like the ambience and environment that this project creates is perfect for a late night sleep deprivation party.

Ftlframe - Fleeting Memories
92

Well ain't this noiceeee, despite it lacking a little band near the end of the album. I truly enjoyed each song here and I truly enjoyed my experience with this album. I guess you could say I made the right choice of listening to this album today rather than the Wayne album.

Therefore, I Am, haha more like

How does an album cover both repel and attract you?

Jim O'Rourke - Bad Timing
93

The timing was bad, but the execution was amazing. I can't really compare it to any other work, but I will say I would not mind listening to 94 the Long Way on repeat for an entire year if I had to.

Jim O'Rourke - The Visitor
88

This classifies as one of those "Deep YouTube Finds" for me, or at least in my experience.

Jim O'Rourke - Simple Songs
94

Very interesting, and I can tell love was poured all throughout this album. Truly an amazing and enlightening listen that needs to be experienced by everyone.

Jim O'Rourke - To Magnetize Money and Catch a Roving Eye
71

Pretty standard for a drone album, the length and the noise just aids it. Apparently really good while studying so give it a shot ig.

Terno Rei - Nenhuma Estrela
91

This was definitely cool, and I'd love to listen to it over and over because it really just attracts me.

Jim O'Rourke - Halfway to a Threeway
96

Hey this is good, despite its weird name. I want to expand my plunge into Jim, because I do think his stuff will be interesting.

Honningbarna - Soft Spot
88

Well hey I'm love this

Edward Skeletrix - Museum Music
70

Yeah I also dk why I did it for this one either

Edward Skeletrix - Museum Music
90

Yeah idk why I overrated this so much

Aesop Rock - Black Hole Superette
84

A decent album, though I did want more from Aesop Rock, I do think that this is still a pleasurable album to have.

Swans - Birthing
94

42 years worth of extravagant and conceptual music, all to be closed by this one album. It's interesting and I think the fact that it's a closer really helps it a lot in terms of enjoyability. I'd say that this album, though not being as refined as some of the other Swans albums, can be held as a keystone for their discography. I'm picturing a sunset when I hear this album. and I can tell that in the future many music snobs will be praising it for its sound. There's not ... read more

Lucy Bedroque - Unmusique

Very good, though the cover worries me

"I mean fair enough, it's good to know you liked some songs still though, but yeah songs like "he never existed in the first place" were a bit hard for me at first too. I don't know what clicked in me but I eventually loved the voices in the band, so I'd say give it a relisten like around this time right now, to gather your thoughts again."
