Soul-crushing, beautiful, melodic, really all the descriptions of this great album. TSTNPOTD is really constructed well beginning to end and you feel like your on a journey throughout the whole. Very nice album.
Where do I even begin... Black Country, New Road's, "Ant's From Up There" is such a pristine album. The instrumentation on this thing is heavenly, it feels like each part of the songs is one big triumph -- not to mention the build up to the climax of, "The Place Where He Inserted the Blade". Also, I love how this sounds overall, this sounds like your in rural Britain and I love it. It's amazing how this new band with only one album under their belt, can improve so ... read more
wow
My GYAAAT, this slaps. The concept is just so amazing, and don't under mind the sound. The riffs, THE RIFFS. It sometimes feels like you're getting slapped with 1,000 whales at the same time. The vocals are good to, they don't go harder than they have to. Overall, this thing is a beast...

Album is great.
The old-school hip-hop and Dr. Dre on this, makes this a classic. The hits, they hit. There are some songs on here that are just BOPS, and every song is (except Drips [kinda mid]).
Man, this... this is good.
The dirty grunge era of the early 90s heavy influenced Radiohead at this time, and they still switch it up. The heavy gutairs on "Just", and the sad and depressive vocals of "Bulletproof... I Wish I Was" make this an album that is fulll of grungy energy with some variety.
Pretty good album.
This is the first Jack Harlow album I've heard, very valid. He picked really good beats, it kind of reminds me of "The College Dropout" with the chipmunk R&B. His flows and lyricism are really good, but the whole album doesn't feel realized. It's a really good vibe, but I wishes it just lasted longer. It lacks that "Umph"
This album is beautiful and real.
I honestly think that this album belongs on the top rap albums. First, this is what I love about good albums, the beats and sound just feel like the album cover. The beats just expel life and feelings. On "Thank You" the beat has choir people singing and it really helps the track be very emotional about Damian's Grandma. "Bill Walton" is a great opener introducing the themes and sound of the album.

This album is very good.
This album is very good debut. The ideas and musical instruments very abstract, but it still keep it foundation of a post-punk band. Sometimes I was amazed with the pure, raw, and passionate vocals of Issac Wood, but his lyric could sometimes be very corny. The track "Sunglasses" is a good example. He says leave Kanye out of this, and it just makes you cringe a little but this doesn't ruin it by any statement. The sounds on this thing are just... complex in ... read more
