This EP might just be laced with something. What a great bite sized, memorable project.
Doesn't get much more 80s than this. Obviously I knew the big hits off of the record before listening to this, but the deep cuts are honestly just as good. Fantastic stuff, this album is produced so well.
A lot of this is just boring and sounds unfinished but the highlights absolutely slap. Ultra Violet and American Muscle are the two most streamed songs on the album and they really nail the ethereal banger style that Fauni goes for on much of this album. Unfortunately, a lot of the rest of this album doesn't have the same quality production that those two do. I think this is a very good album. It really commits to a dark, rainy aesthetic. Most instrumental hip-hop albums that have more minimal instrumentation tend to be pretty boring. This is not the case for Late Night Club. The instrumentation is able to be bare bones because of how each track provokes one's imagination. The conciseness of the album helps with that too.
