Got broken up with and now I get it

PinkPantheress - to hell with it

This EP might just be laced with something. What a great bite sized, memorable project.

Clairo - Charm

Very good comfort album but this all blends together quite a bit for me. Still has a good sound but I don't come back to many of these songs individually.

Kate Bush - Hounds of Love

I don't get it yet, I'll give it another try at some point

Tears for Fears - Songs from the Big Chair

Doesn't get much more 80s than this. Obviously I knew the big hits off of the record before listening to this, but the deep cuts are honestly just as good. Fantastic stuff, this album is produced so well.

Thouxanbanfauni - CLAIRVOYANCE

A lot of this is just boring and sounds unfinished but the highlights absolutely slap. Ultra Violet and American Muscle are the two most streamed songs on the album and they really nail the ethereal banger style that Fauni goes for on much of this album. Unfortunately, a lot of the rest of this album doesn't have the same quality production that those two do. Firestone is one of the more unique sounding songs on the album, I just wish Fauni had a bigger presence on it. My least favorite track ... read more

On Panorama, Emanuel's second EP of the year, we catch a glimpse of his "memories and traumas" via six of the most stunning tracks he has ever released.

The EP begins with the title track, a slow, melancholic jazzy instrumental. The piano that repeats for the entire song is reminiscent of something off of a 2814's 新しい日の誕生. Immediately upon listening to this track I knew that Panorama would not be quite like Bloom or Late Night Club. No, Panorama is a somewhat far ... read more

Childish Gambino - What Kind of Love

This is one of the best Frank Ocean songs I've ever heard!

Smino - blkswn

Not too many standouts for me on this album, but a bunch of really solid tracks. I got caught off guard a number of times when he would switch his flow. There would just be one or two random lines that were some of the catchiest things I've ever heard. Good stuff.

Harry Styles - Treat People With Kindness
NR

This song feels dystopian.

Ecco2k - E

Yeah I think this is perfect.

Joji - In Tongues

Joji comes through with some beautiful tunes and some forgettable ones too.

Xavier Wulf - Blood Shore Season Two

Xavier Wulf's delivery is by far the MVP of this album.

Juice WRLD - Cigarettes
NR

I wish this was on Legends Never Die. One of his best leaks IMO. Still waiting for the day when Autograph gets officially released everywhere.

Funky Flaco is the greatest rapper of our generation.

Rihanna - ANTI

why is love on the brain the highest rated song on this album. that song is ass

emnl - Late Night Club

I think this is a very good album. It really commits to a dark, rainy aesthetic. Most instrumental hip-hop albums that have more minimal instrumentation tend to be pretty boring. This is not the case for Late Night Club. The instrumentation is able to be bare bones because of how each track provokes one's imagination. The conciseness of the album helps with that too. No track overstays its welcome to the point of becoming monotonous. Every track is laced with ambient noise that suits its sounds ... read more
