its a great debut album, and its before Dallas was in the band, which is when they were at their peak. Karl Sanders' ambient also leaves a lot to be desired, but in the next album it gets a hell of a lot better.

This album was responsible for me getting into Black Metal as a whole. They were amazing live when I saw the proper band (Derph’s band). It’s a show that I still think about quite often.
