From what I heard about this album, I was expecting to feel like I was floating through space on a rubber ring, but I just felt like I was on lazy river in Skegness to be honest.

A very good punky hc album. Would like to see these live one day.
Bandcamp price: $9.99 USD
Not exactly my cup of tea but the ambient tracks were very good.
Bandcamp price: £7.99 GBP
Strong beatdowns. You can never go wrong with northern unrest.

A luh calm album. First post-country rock thingy that I’ve listened to. Will definitely listen to more.
Bandcamp price: $10 USD
Very strong for a debut album. It’s bog standard sabbath-y doom metal. I do enjoy this one a hell of a lot, especially the opening track. It’s good fun.
Bandcamp price: $8 USD
The mix sounds a lot better than receptive when beaten but I still don’t fw the programmed drums. Once again the vocals are the stand out for me.
Bandcamp price: €7 EUR (Morbid Generation Records)

It’s fun.
Definitely the most disturbing samples they’ve used.
Nothing will beat their debut EP though.

Strong debut.
Definitely more Deathcore than BDM.
They should play “Gaped and Spat In” live at least once.
Bandcamp price: NYP (Virulent Deathcore)
Would be higher if there was some bass. The instrumentation sounds lifeless and sorta boring without any bass guitar. Still a very strong sounding ep, just doesn’t blow me away as other does.
One of the first slam-slop releases in my books.

A great solo project EP. I hate when projects like this release a great record and just disappear from the face of the earth. Apparently the guy said something would be coming in 2018. Obviously that was a lie.

I cannot wait to see these again.
I saw them at Dortmund Deathfest not too long ago. They use clips from Lucio Fulci’s works and it creates a great performance. They are an amazing band live.
Bandcamp price: €11 EUR
Solid shoegaze.
A few filler tracks here and there but I think it will definitely grow on me.
Plus, it only just got added to Bandcamp like a month ago.
Bandcamp price: $5 USD
Nothing will ever beat this for me. Ever.
This is the millionaire shortbread of music.
Bandcamp price: $9.99 USD
This is a pretty important album to me. Despite it being from Cattle Decapitation, a band that is prominently known as a Deathgrind band, it got me into melodeath a lot more and therefore rediscovering my love for Kataklysm.
Also Travis Ryan genuinely sounds inhuman on most of these tracks. Love him.
Bandcamp price: $9.99 USD
I got to see them on this album’s tour. It was my first arena show that I’d been to. They opened with Napoleon, Genghis Khan and Caesar arguing about who was the best conqueror, then the band came out dressed as Templars and opened with “Templars”.
It was the best show I’d been to.
Bandcamp price: $10 USD
Fuck you Elvis Presley.
Very strong and groovy album.
I don’t even know what genre DF are. Brutal Tech Death? Technical Deathgrind? Brutal Hardcore Tech Death?
It’s the best album for the drums from DF imo.
Bandcamp price: $8 USD
A happy hardcore album, which does kind of take away the intensity of the genre. I am very much used to my angry, loud music.
“Better” is more a pop punk song than anything, so it’s an interesting album to listen to, as it’s from a band that are deep in the UKHC scene.
Bandcamp price: $9 USD
Might be one of the heaviest albums of all time.
The mix alone weighs about as much as a star, and add a few billion more tonnes for the bass drops.
By no means does this sound like traditional brutal death metal, when I first heard this, I thought it was beatdown, and just beatdown.
It’s a very unique take on BDM.
Bandcamp price: $5 USD (DAZE)
