one of the best indie rock records ive heard. some REALLY strong hooks especially in runaway, gone gone gone and open up.

my friend introduced me to phoneboy around a year ago, and i was instantly hooked on their last album, moving out. although their lyrics can feel a little generic at times their melodies were unique and catchy; however almost none of this carries over to heartbreak designer.

i enjoy all of the tracks on a level, but most of them are just.. okay. the real standout of this album is i look alive which was honestly one of my favourite songs from last year.

some of my favourite songs ever, such as crying in public and ch-ching are on moth, which I think is chairlift's second best album.

a little more upbeat in sound from their last album, something, but it still holds a certain melancholy that caroline definitely used in her newer works like pang.

overall moth is an innovative alt pop album that is an absolute essential for any caroline fans. check it out !!
