i'll never understand this shi. their previous stuff way better.

i have a lot of hope for Lexa Gates, but this album kinda let me down ngl. I think it was about 5 songs in when it started to fade from my focus. just became background music. i luv her vibe, and her sing/rap style, but it is not showcased well here. These beats are just way too cookie-cutter and repetitive to maintain my engagement.

A lot of really nice vibey hits, with a couple of duds. My first time listening and hearing about Mach-Hommy, and I was not let down. He has a somewhat obscure and curious public image but if anything that makes me fuck with him harder. This album is exactly what I love in the 'abstract hip-hop' genre.
